Enviro-Art: 2023 AAP Youth Climate Art Exhibition
American Academy of Pediatrics – San Diego Climate Change and Health Committee and the Children’s Arts Council is proud to host our first 2021 Youth Arts Contest!!!
Calling all San Diego County Youth Poets, Photographers, and Artists! The AAP-CA3 San Diego Climate Change and Health Committee invites all kids to join us. We believe creativity and art builds community and can heal the earth! Please consider entering this contest sponsored by your earth-loving pediatricians!
Contest Dates: April 18 until June 20, 2021 August 31, 2021 (extended)
Eligible: SAN DIEGO COUNTY kids, ages 3-18
Category: 2D Art, Photography, Poetry
Prizes: Every entry up to 1500 will have a tree planted in Nepal’s Chitwan National Park, a World Heritage Site in Nepal, through Eden Reforestation Projects, and receive an e-certificate.
Judge Award Honors: Professional and healthcare judging panel will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in age brackets with prizes.
Raffle Prizes: All entries will be eligible for raffled sustainable prizes and invitation to our eco-party featuring Pediatric Nurse Florante Estacio and his awesome band!!! (depending on COVID-19, will be virtual or real party)
How to Enter: Please enter your information using the form below. For poetry submissions, use the comment box to submit your work directly or upload a PDF document or image. For art and photography submissions, up to 10 images are accepted. Images must be in the following formats: JPEG/JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP.
