Fast Fashion

Check out our last year’s contest here!

Express your creativity while showcasing fast fashion’s impact on our planet. The 2025 Enviro-Art Climate Change & Health Youth Art Exhibition invites you to create original artwork that highlights the environmental consequences of throwaway fashion culture.

Fast fashion might bring trendy clothes and toys at cheap prices, but these low-quality items often fall apart after a short time, creating mountains of textile and plastic waste. The production process relies on toxic chemicals like PFAS (forever chemicals) and microplastics that pollute our water, soil, and air. Through your art, help raise awareness about sustainable alternatives and inspire others to rethink their relationship with clothing and fast fashion culture.

Your artwork can also advocate for the Fashion Act 2025 (AB 405), groundbreaking legislation that would require fashion brands like Shein and Temu to adopt more sustainable practices, eliminate harmful chemicals, and take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of their products.

Whether you prefer painting, digital art, photography, collage, or mixed media, we want to see your unique perspective on this important issue. The most compelling entries will combine artistic excellence with a clear message about creating a more sustainable fashion future.

Open to all artists under 18. Show us how your generation can lead the way toward more conscious consumption and help protect our planet!
