SDPCA is proud to announce that we have formed an anti-vaping team. We have reached out to the American Cancer Society to join the coalition of San Diegans versus Big Tobacco https://sandiegansvsbigtobacco.org/. Our team consist of Dr. Peony Liu, who is a pediatric hospitalist and works on anti-vaping measures in her professional life. Dr. Peony Liu’s team is composed of Dr. Naomi Lawrence-Reid, Vivian Nguyen (our student co-founder), Alice Nguyen (a current senior student at Westview High School), and Allison Delmar, a freshman from Chula Vista. We hope that this talented team help combat the vaping and tobacco epidemic that is polluting not our our children’s lungs but also our earth.
